

ABBY WAMBAUGH is an American comedian, writer and improviser who lives in Copenhagen and regularly performs in the UK. Abby debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024, winning Best Newcomer in the Jones ISH Comedy Awards, Best Show in the European Comedy Awards, and Best Comedy in the Theatre Weekly Fringe Awards. Abby was also nominated for Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer, Comedian’s Choice Best Newcomer, NextUp’s Biggest Award in Comedy and Best Newcomer at the 2025 Chortle Awards. Abby has a BA in Humor and Social Change and was an Autumn 2021 Resident of St. Nells Humor Writing Residency (run by New Yorker cartoonist and comedian Emily Flake).
LARA RICOTE (Director) is a Mexican-American-Venezuelan stand up comedian, actress and writer based in London, and that’s in the UK! This girl is the Winner of the Best Newcomer Award at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and another award too. This year she’s starring in three Channel 4 series: Mitchell & Webb's new sketch show, Sam Campbell’s “Make That Movie,” and Jess Bray’s “Break Clause” - that one as the lead. She is so proud to have directed this show you’re about to watch.
ROB LARIVIERE (Lighting Design) is a New York based Lighting Designer, Production Manager, and multidisciplinary theatre maker. Their designs have been seen throughout NYC, at The Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival, and with the Las Vegas Theatre Company.

SHAWN PATRICK "GENE" MALONE they/them (Company Manager) is fresh to the NYC theater scene. An alumni of Ithaca College's Theater Arts Management program, they have found their calling of company management. Recently, Malone was the company manager on Wine in the Wilderness and Bus Stop at Classic Stage Company, Morgan Bassichis: Can I Be Frank?, and Josh Sharp's ta-da!. GLORIA GOMEZ she/her (Stage Manager) Previous stage management credits include Morgan Bassichis: Can I Be Frank?, La MaMa SQUIRTS, La MaMa Puppet Slam 2024, Must Come Down (Kestrels), Had Enuf of the Blues (La MaMa), and Out FRONT! Festival 2025 presented by Pioneers Go East Collective in partnership with BAM and Judson Church. She is also an aspiring sound designer making electronic music compositions for independent projects, most recently providing music for Mayonnaise Rizadas & Gatorade: The Play (La MaMa Galleria). She is a graduate of Oberlin College with a B.A in Theater & Dance as well as an alumnus of the Trinity/La MaMa Performing Arts Program.

HANNAH GADSBY (Producer) has been a comedian for nearly two decades, but it was in 2018 that the world took notice when their groundbreaking comedy special, Nanette, launched on Netflix and stopped the comedy world in its tracks. Nanette earned Hannah an Emmy, a Peabody, an Australian Academy Award, and the Most Outstanding Show awards at both the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe. Since then, Hannah has toured the world with three more solo stand-up comedy shows – selling out houses across the USA, Australia and Europe, including the Sydney Opera House, The Palladium in London’s West End, the Kennedy Center, and the Opera House at BAM. Hannah’s second Netflix special, Douglas, was also nominated for an Emmy Award and won an Australian Academy Award, as did their third, Something Special. In Hannah's fourth special, Gender Agenda, they hosted and curated the first lineup show on Netflix to showcase exclusively genderqueer comedians from around the world. In recent years, they have also managed to publish their New York Times Best Selling memoir, Ten Steps To Nanette, in more than ten languages, hosted a gala at the Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival, co-curated an exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, and appeared on the television smash hit “Sex Education.” In their most recent visit to NYC in October 2024, they performed their critically acclaimed show WOOF! for an extended engagement at the Abrons Arts Center.
JENNEY SHAMASH (Producer) is an Emmy-nominated, Australian Academy Award-winning producer and director, best known for her close collaboration with comedian Hannah Gadsby. Recent credits include Douglas (Producer, Netflix), Something Special (Director, Netflix), Gender Agenda (Executive Producer, Netflix), and WOOF! (Director). With a background in New York theater, she has previously worked with several NYC institutions including Park Avenue Armory, Signature Theatre Company, the Irish Repertory Theatre, and PSNY, and collaborated on productions around the U.S. and internationally as a Producer, General or Company Manager with artists such as Peter Sellars, BeBe Winans, Monica Bill Barnes, Bill Irwin, Athol Fugard, Martha Clarke, Annie Baker, Charles Mee, Taryn Simon, and Ben Zamora, among many others.
CARLEE BRIGLIA (Producer) is one half of Mike & Carlee Productions. Selected credits include Oh, Mary! Mike & Carlee were nominated for a Tony Award as lead producers of the hit Broadway play, Oh, Mary! and have been described as the people with “The Power To Propel Comedians to Netflix” in New York Magazine’s “The Most Powerful New Yorkers You’ve Never Heard Of” 2023 cover story. She has also produced comedy specials for Alex Edelman (HBO, Emmy Winner/Peabody Nominee), Tig Notaro (Amazon, Emmy Nominee), Pete Davidson (Netflix), Anthony Jeselnik (Netflix), Matteo Lane (Hulu), and Atsuko Okatsuka (Hulu).
